Another bored day tank, a fictional American super heavy tank based heavily on the mark viii liberty tank. the turret is based on the experimental M1921 medium tank . EDIT: since thingiverse didnt decide to show the tank body, i put in a pic of the whole tank. have fun making and enjoy!

Another bit of experimentation, though its name and some of its elements are fictional, its mostly (90%) a real experimental tank from between the world wars, the FCM-21. Sadly though, only a handful of pictures exist of it and only one or two side drawings, so i made up some parts that are not noticeable. have fun and enjoy making!

Some bored day tank makes, fictional WW1 British super heavy tank heavily based on British mk I-V. turret is based on vickers medium mark ii. alternately, M bergman's turrets for the Lancaster AC and RNAS AC will also work for this. had also made a wide tracked version initially and have included it with a more narrow one. have fun making and enjoy!

HMS Caroline. Since visiting this ship in Belfast in 2017, I have always wanted to model it here is a first attempt. Caroline is a light cruiser &the only surviving ship from the Battle of Jutland. If you happen to be in Belfast you really should visit its just around the corner from the Titanic expo. I am indebted to Halfsquidhalfman for the bow section (I didnt have a clue how to make the curves). The scale is 1/100 making the whole model 1.3metres (5.5 feet) long! So I suggest you scale...

In 1918, the US Army Corps of Engineers built a tank powered by steam, as many of the gas engines of the day were somewhat feeble. It was powered by two Doble steam engines generating 500 hp. It was armed with a flamethrower with a 90 ft range and 4 .30 cal machine guns. It was sent to France in mid-1918 for testing by the US Tank Commission. There it was named "America." The prototype was the only example built and is believed to have been scrapped in the 1930s. This model has been...

By the time neutral America officially joined WWI in April 1917 as an “Associate” of the Allies, Theodore Roosevelt had for two and a half years been carrying on a quixotic and unpopular struggle at home. This domestic crusade was fought against what he considered the craven neutrality of Woodrow Wilson, whose very presence in the White House TR blamed on himself. This talk examines these years in the multiple, intertwined, contexts of Roosevelt's post-presidential political career, the...

An old file from my Pepakura making days that I discovered in Pepakura Designer you can export to .OBJ and in "Windows 10 3DBuilder or 123Design" export to .STL. Unfortunately I don't have the skills yet to improve further on the model, but maybe someone out there would like to tidy it up. Please upload it back as a remix if you do take the time to clean it up. Please note this was originally uploaded to the net as a free down load. So I cant take credit for whom actually made the...

The CLB 75 was an early attempt by United States private interests to produce a tank. The tank was designed by the C. L. Best Gas Traction Company which was a competitor of the Holt Manufacturing Company (best known for the holt tractor). the tank itself was simply the CLB's best selling tractor the CLB 75hp "Tracklayer" with a thin piece of sheet metal over it. The tank would have between 1 to 4 cannons between 30-50mm in a rotating turret. The whole thing was designed to operate...

1/32nd scale model parts for the late WW1 Hanriot HD.3 French two seat fighter. Some scratch building skills will be required to complete this build. You will also need the wings, seat and guns from an academy sopwith camel, also in 1.32nd scale, which is currently a cheap and readily available kit, along with a suitable propeller, lewis gun and steel wire for the undercarriage axle.
